John Busbee, founder of The Culture Buzz, and a creative project manager, was awarded an Iowa Arts Council Iowa Arts & Culture Emergency Relief Fund grant recently, helping alleviate the loss of project work during 2020. The Iowa Arts Council, a division of the Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs, has developed beneficial and responsive granting and programming to support Iowa's significant arts and culture economy. I am grateful for this support filtering down to the individual creative level. 

THE CULTURE BUZZ is the umbrella under which a variety of creative services and projects operate. As its namesake radio show, The Culture Buzz has been sharing stories, interviews and news since 2007 on KFMG 98.9 FM, streaming globally at www.kfmg.org, following its mission as: “Iowa’s gateway to arts, literature, culture, history & entertainment. The cultural network for creative exploration – indulge your imagination, enhance your life.” As a cultural catalyst, The Culture Buzz enables individuals, groups or communities develop strategies to achieve targeted goals.
